Darkness never dies.

Hunted across the True Sea, haunted by the lives she took on the Fold, Alina must try to make a life with Mal in an unfamiliar land, all while keeping her identity as the Sun Summoner a secret. But she can’t outrun her past or her destiny for long.

The Darkling has emerged from the Shadow Fold with a terrifying new power and a dangerous plan that will test the very boundaries of the natural world. With the help of a notorious privateer, Alina returns to the country she abandoned, determined to fight the forces gathering against Ravka. But as her power grows, Alina slips deeper into the Darkling’s game of forbidden magic, and farther away from Mal. Somehow, she will have to choose between her country, her power, and the love she always thought would guide her–or risk losing everything to the oncoming storm.

This is coming out next week guys! EEP. I feel bad not having it as a WoW earlier. But the wait is almost over!!! I can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Also: cover = amazing. Even better than Shadow and Bone.

  1. I've been looking forward to this since the instant I finished Shadow & Bone, and I can't believe it's less than a week away now! Too bad I'll be cramming for finals, but at least it'll be there to look forward to. I agree: the cover is gorgeous and only makes me wonder how awesome Ruin & Rising will look!

  2. Ugh! So jealous! And I hope it is better than Shadow and Bone. I did love that one, but it didn't really blow my mind, but the series has such potential! 🙂 Just a few more days!

  3. Ugh, I had the same with my finals. I've had Dan Brown's Inferno lying next to my bed for like two weeks but I just had to pick up smaller books to safe time. NO MORE. Ooh I didn't know the third was called Ruin & Rising, HAHA, but what an awesome name!!! I bet the cover will be stunning, once again.

I need to read this series, I've heard only great things about it and I hope to like it just as much as all those people. xD
