Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone: The Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling, illustrated by Jim Kay: Yeah, ummm HELLO GORGEOUS. I was going back and forth on ordering this for a while, but I am SO GLAD I DID. It may be my 3rd copy of this book, but I regret nothing. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been meaning to do a Harry Potter reread for years now, but with this in my hands, I’m definitely going to dive in again soon.
The Epic Adventures of Lydia Bennet by Kate Rorick and Rachel Kiley: LBD SEAHORSE 4 LYFE. I can’t wait to see Lydia’s own adventures. I’m expecting lots of amazing voice ♥
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: HOW STUNNING IS THIS BOOK? Love the black-sided pages, the cover, the everything. It’s up next to read – in time for Leigh’s event in Rotterdam next week EEEEEEEEK – and I cannot wait!
Spinning Starlight by R.C. Lewis: I adoooored Lewis’s debut last year, Stitching Snow, so another sci-fi fairy tale retelling? I AM SO READY. And how adorable is that cover? Seriously.
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: SO VERY CURIOUS but *flees from hype monsters*
The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness: This is one of my favorite reads of 2015, for sure. The funny parody of YA paranormal romance – awesome. The stuff about anxiety and OCD – tears. So many feelings. Obviously I had to buy a copy for my shelves. AND IT’S SIGNED!! *muppet flail*
The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan: The Uncle Rick collection keeps growing :’) But YEAH, this book was really cool!! I can’t wait for more in this series. But I guess I have to. *sigh*
The Immortal Heights by Sherry Thomas: One of my favorite series, for sure. I thought this ending was SOLID. Good adventure, great twists, and that shipppppppppp. I ship it like burning.
The Giver Quartet by Lois Lowry: This was not EXACTLY a planned buy, but this boxed set was on Amazon for 17 euros. YEAH. 17 EUROS FOR FOUR BOOKS. I mean, can you even blame me? Plus, The Giver is one of those classic dystopians that I really need to read.
A Gathering of Shadows by Victoria Schwab: Okayyy so everyone can come hate me for this. Honestly, I can’t even believe my luck. V Schwab is definitely one of my faves ♥ so asdfjkl;omgasdfjkl;eeeeeeeeee
Just Visiting by Dahlia Adler: I might be a tiny bit biased, but Dahlia is made of awesome. CANNOT wait for this book, which I’ve heard has amazing female friendships and awesome, feelsy ships. HELL YEAH, I’m down for that.
