Dream On by Kerstin Gier: IT IS FINALLYYYY HEREEEEEE. You probably know I’m a slightly obsessed fangirl of everything Kerstin Gier. I mean, qualitatively her books aren’t the best but they’re SO MUCH FUN. I really hope my crackship in this series is gonna happen. Please. But yeah, I am excited. Not about this cover. But about the book.
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson: It’s been pre-ordered for ages because THIS BOOK AND THIS COVER AND THIS AUTHOR AND THIS CUTENESS. I need it in my life. I swear I want to just binge fluffy and fun books this summer. Nothing else.
The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan: I’ll admit I was skeptical about this because, seriously, Uncle Rick, please don’t become like CC. It’s okay to let this world go. But, then again, Apollo in the modern world? Chances at glimpses of Percabeth? You guys had to know I would fall for this.
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas: Yep, like every other YA reader (probably), I’ve had this pre-ordered. Forever. Because Sarah. Duh.
The Inquisition by Taran Matharu: I really enjoyed the first book in this series (it was like POKEMON meets HARRY POTTER meets LORD OF THE RINGS), so yeah, I need the sequel in my life. I think this is one where I’d have to do a reread first though, because I need to dive back into that world. I just remember it as being seriously FUN.
Girl Against the Universe by Paula Stokes: I’m currently reading this one and LOVING IT SO MUCH. I swear, my soul needed this book. It’s part fluff and cuteness and part super meaningful heartrending therapy-positive character growth. I’m just a puddle of emotions right now. Definitely get this book!!!
Some Kind of Happiness by Claire Legrand: Also a book involving anxiety, but very different. For one, it’s middle grade. And it’s slightly fantastical in that the main character has a HUGE imagination. I really liked this one. It really touched my heart by the end. It’s a very special book. ♥
The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You by Lily Anderson: Fluff about geeks. Geeks who like Doctor Who. Um. Yeah, I need it.
