Top Ten Books At The TOP Of My Spring 2013 TBR List!
Oooh, this is a good topic. It’ll get me to commit to reading these ten books in the next three months. Well actually, 12. This’ll work. Last week’s TTT also helps – you guys were all really enthusiastic in the comments! It definitely gave some books a sense of priority.
1. Ink by Amanda Sun
No, I’m not going to stop fangirling over this. I will drop everything to read this when it’s in my hands. Still waiting for it to go live on NetGalley…. *grumbles*
2. Taken by Erin Bowman
I have an ARC for this! *faints* I’ve only heard amazing things, so I really need to get around to this soon. As soon as uni stops kicking my butt.
3. Transparent by Natalie Whipple
I was totally excited for this one as soon as I heard about it, and then I got approved for it on Edelweiss! I was surprised and amazed. I can’t wait to dig into it.
4. September Girls by Bennett Madison
Also got approved for this on Edelweiss! I had a childhood crush on a series about mermaids, so I’m hoping this book can reignite my love for them. Serious cover love too, by the way.
5. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Your enthusiasm in the comments last week has officially placed this very high on the list. I’ll try to get around to it ASAP. It sounds like I will completely fall in love with it.
6. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
I know, I’m completely awful for not getting around to this yet. February was just so filled with other books. Everyone’s raving though, so I will read it soon. I swear!
7. The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
Also very much recommended in last week’s TTT, I’m even more excited to get around to it.
8. Ultraviolet by R.J. Anderson
Yet another one that got many recommendations last week. I’ve had this one on my list for so long, it’s disgraceful that I still haven’t gotten around to it.
9. Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor
I’m only like, 5 months late on this one… ^^; Uhh, yeah. I don’t know what’s stopping me, because I seriously loved the first. Hopefully putting it on this list will give me the push I need.
10. Fragments by Dan Wells
I got an ARC for this, just a bit too late to read it before the release date. But yeah, getting an ARC makes it a priority.
11 & 12. Pandemonium & Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Same as with Fragments, I got an ARC of Requiem. A bit late. And I never read Pandemonium, because I wasn’t fully convinced by Delirium. I am resolved to read the whole series now though.
So… which books are on your spring TBR list?
Let me know in comments!
