These are the books I marked as the highest priority on my Amazon wishlist. Haha, I’m not actually sure if it’s all that accurate because my taste in which books I want changes so rapidly. But anyway, I hope I’ll get at least some of these.

Graceling Leviathan hourglass Time Between Us Gaiman

1. Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Yeah, I bought Bitterblue a while back, because it was on sale, but I still haven’t bought Graceling. I need this to happen. I need to get in on this series.

2. Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
Like Graceling, I have Goliath, because I found it at Boekenfestijn for like 5 euros. I want to start this wonderful steampunk series.

3. Hourglass by Myra McEntire
They pitch this as like YA time travel for fans of Doctor Who. This needs to happen. If I don’t get it, it will probably be the first book I buy after Christmas.

4. Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone
Time travel and contemporary romance-y goodness. So. Obviously.

5. American Gods/Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman (Barnes and Noble Leatherbound Classic Edition)
Since my parents are coming to the Netherlands from the US, this is a possibility! You know how much I love the leatherbound classics. And this one is just awesome.

The Darkest Minds Seraphina Eleanor & Park Vicious The Beginning of Everything

6. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
People can’t seem to shut up about this series. Uhh I don’t think I know anyone who hasn’t been raving about it.

7. Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
Dragons! And that cover! Yes, this one, not the ugly purple one. I really hope I get this one.

8. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Well, I said if I liked Fangirl, I would check this out, and I did, so here we are.

9. Vicious by V.E. Schwab
This one totally flew under my radar until after its release, but it sounds pretty darn cool. Yay superheroes!

10. The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider
I have a thing for yellow covers. But also, this sounds like the kind of contemporary I typically love.

BUT TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST, if Santa would bring me print ARCs of Split Second, Evertrue and The Winner’s Curse, I would need nothing else in the world.

Which books are you hoping for?

  1. I loved Time Between Us! Even though there’s the time travel aspect it reads more like a contemporary, but still I thought it was great.
Um, how gorgeous is that leatherbound classic? I don’t actually own any book like that, but they always look so pretty! It’ll look great on a bookshelf.

  2. I agree that you need to read the Hourglass series, I loved it, and there are some fun references in there! It took me a bit to get into the book but once I did I couldn’t stop reading and loved it!
And Eleanor and Park… I loved it, such a fantastic book!

  3. Seraphina is on my list too. It is one of my top ten favorite books, but I don’t own it yet – I rented from the library. I want a hard copy so badly so that I can re-read over and over again until the sequel comes out in 2015. And its funny, I don’t mind the purple cover. 🙂

Leviathan has been on my wish list forever. I’m not a fan of steampunk, but I have a feeling this book will change it. I need to get it, but I’ve been holding out for the hardcover and every time I look, there’s only the paperbacks. No thank you. Vicious should be on everybody’s list because SUPERVILLAINS FTW. ;D I know it will be a frickin’ awesome book because really who doesn’t like supervillains (who are competent)?
