CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE. And to tell you the truth, I had real difficulty putting this list together because I’ve been on a book buying ban for so long. I’ve actively been resisting thinking about which books I’d buy if I had the chance. WHO SERIOUSLY KNOWS what I’m actually getting for Christmas, because my wishlist is extensive, but oh well. Books books books = always fun!

Maid of Secrets Every Breath To-All-the-Boys-Ive-Loved-Before The Raven Boys The Kiss of Deception Make It Count Eleanor & Park Unspoken Something Strange and Deadly Rebel Belle

1. Maid of Secrets by Jennifer McGowan: Moar historical fiction with swoons and political intrigue plz!!
2. Every Breath by Ellie Marney: After all the raving, how couldn’t I?
3. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han: STILL LOOKING SO ADORBS.
4. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater: I’m so far behind, seriously, omg.
5. Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson: Everyone seemed to love this! I need more awesome fantasy!
6. Make It Count by Megan Erickson: I’ve been LOVING new adult this year – the light fluffy ones! These are next on my list to check out!
7. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell: I’ve still only read Fangirl. I know. Awful.
8. Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan: SOMEONE said this series was basically ALL BANTER, so duh.
9. Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard: This has been recced so many times – and it’s Sarah J. Maas’s bestie, so YES PLZ.
10. Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins: That coverrrrr. And it sounds light and fun and creative and I waaaaant.

That’s my list! What’s at the top of YOUR wishlist?

  1. I still haven’t read Eleanor and Park (despite having now read all of Rowell’s other published works, ironically enough) so I’m hoping for it as well! Unspoken is a great book, and I LOVED the initial cover, but unfortunately the covers changed on the last two books so I haven’t been able to bring myself to buy/read the last two books and have an unmatching set (my bookish OCD kicking in!) Have a wonderful holiday season, and I hope some of these will be waiting under your tree for you on Christmas morning!

  2. Definitely need To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Raven Boys – they were some of the best books I read this year! A friend actually got me Every Breath for Christmas; I’m really excited to read it now that I know it’s a Sherlock Holmes retelling of sorts.

    • Sorry to respond so late! My favorite new adult books are from Cora Carmack. All of her books are AWESOME – they’re not super dark or melodramatic, but realistic, sexy, and super feelsy. I loooved Boomerang too, and When Joss Met Matt by Ellie Cahill, which is coming out next month!

  3. Cee

My friends keep pushing the Raven Cycle on me, and I WANT IT TOO. I want to see what the fuss is all about! I’ve read Unspoken, and it’s sooo frickin’ good. SO MUCH FEELS. I am in need of my own copy.

  4. Ooh I want a lot of these. I have been hearing good things about Rebel Belle but I don’t know if it’s really my thing. Same for To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. I think I’ll still give them a go. I own The Raven Boys but I haven’t got around to reading it yet. I can’t get the Susan Dennard books over here and it makes me sad. They aren’t even available on Amazon.

  5. Oh my god you have excellent taste!!! I hope you got ALL of these for Christmas because the ones I’ve read (7 of the 10!) are super amazinggggg. I haven’t read Rebel Belle, Eleanor & Park, or Make It Count, and Kiss of Deception is going to be one of my first 2015 reads. But holy cow the rest of the books are some of my most recent favorites!!! 😀

  6. 3. It isn’t as adorable as the cover looks like – is more about family than romance, but there IS a cute couple that does one of your favorite tropes (fake dating)

    4. READ IT SOOOOON!!! You’re not gonna regret, pink promise.

    8. I just read this series last month and oh boy it was good! It IS banter heaven basically.

    10. READ IT. READ IT. READ IT. I think you will love the romance in this one, since is very banter-y and is a hate-to-love kind of thing and is really good and cute and READ IT.
