Beastkeeper by Cat Hellisen: My review for this one will be up this week, but basically, this is adorable, guys. Even if you don’t typically read Middle Grade, consider picking this up. It’s a beautifully written twist on Beauty and the Beast and unf. That writing. That cover. So worth it.
Soulprint by Megan Miranda: I looove the idea of reincarnation, so this world, where souls have a print like a fingerprint, and you can be imprisoned for the crimes of your past lives? Um YES that sounds awesome.
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard: I just started reading this one this morning! So far… I dunno. There are a lot of Hunger Games parallels at the start. But I’m going to keep going. In any case, the cover is STUNNING.
Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton: Fantasy. Assassin MC. Traveling. Scotland. Hong Kong. I didn’t need to hear MUCH more. I should be reading this next!
Rebound by Noelle August: I already read this one, and my review will come up soon. If you’ve read Boomerang you pretty much know what you’re getting into. Pseudo-forbidden office romance, with heaps of chemistry. It’s not as good as the first, in my opinion, because there’s a bit more drama than I personally like, but the swoooooooooons. The swoons are good.
I Remember You by Cathleen Davitt Bell: I just found out about this last week, and that is INEXCUSABLE. THAT PRETTY COVER. ALSO TIMEY WIMEY. Basically, the guy has visions, or well, memories, of the future of their relationship. And they get ominous? I waaaaant.
One of the Guys by Lisa Aldin: The main character is a tomboy who is sent to the Winston Academy for Girls, where she has to learn to be a lady. She then sets up a fake dating business for the girls with all of her guy friends. UM THIS SOUNDS SO FLUFFY AND CUTE.
A Wicked Thing by Rhiannon Thomas: Sleeping Beauty AFTER the wake up kiss? I AM SO EXCITED. I should be reading this one soon, like next week soon.
When Joss Met Matt by Ellie Cahill: I swear I haven’t stopped ranting about how great this book is since I read it in November. But I dooon’t care. When Joss Met Matt is bantery friends-with-benefits NA perfection.
The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury: Twylla lives in a castle, engaged to the prince, and she’s the executioner. She has a deadly touch. So obviously people are scared of her, even the prince who is immune to that touch. But then a new guard arrives… Ummmmm, that sounds amazing. Hopefully it won’t be too much of a cliché love triangle though.
When My Heart Was Wicked by Tricia Stirling: Another one I just found out about last week! This cover is STUNNING seriously, omg. But basically it’s about a world with good and bad magic, and the main character feels like the black magic, which her mother practices, is basically turning her evil. Sounds like a really cool concept.
Unleashed by Sophie Jordan: I know I’m one of the ONLY PEOPLE who really loved Uninvited but YEAH I want to know what happens next! I’m a bit nervous because my shipping feels were derailing by the end of the first book, but I don’t know. I’m sad this never came on Edelweiss.
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab: CROSSDRESSING THIEVES. PIRATES. PARALLEL LONDONS. VICTORIA SCHWAB. It has been pre-ordered and cannot get here fast enough to satisfy me. I HAS A MIGHTY NEED.
