The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace: My review for this went up this week, but yeah. This was just a super fun fantasy with super awesome ships and lots of twisty action… A well-rounded debut!
The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski: I did already read this, and I thought it was good, but it was really slow. Fans of the first book, who ship Arin and Kestrel a lot, will adore this though.
Not Otherwise Specified by Hannah Moskowitz: I’m sad that I think the cover of this one is completely godawful, because it’s been getting such good reviews. It’s looking like a win for diversity, and more specifically for bisexuals. I’m curious!
The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows: This one has been getting RAVE reviews, so it’s definitely on my radar. I am a tiny bit nervous though because I didn’t fully love the Incarnate series – in fact, I still haven’t read the last book. Oops. But I will probably check this out anyway.
Liars, Inc. by Paula Stokes: I just finished reading this one and I thought it was really good! It might not be as thriller-scary as I wanted, but Stokes knows how to write her characters.
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord: I really liked Open Road Summer and I’ve heard that this is just as feel good shippy awesomeness. I already pre-ordered it, so I really really really need this to get into my hands soon.
