Time for another seasonal TBR! You know how I love these. For my spring 2015 TBR, I got really close. I’m reading The Kiss of Deception right now, and all the rest I actually did read! I’m blaming my lack of self-control on April and May ARCs for *just* not making it, but I’ll be sure to finish it off this week. Summer means less ARCs and more freedom, so there’s pretty much no reason I shouldn’t be 10 for 10 on this one.

From My Shelf

To-All-the-Boys-Ive-Loved-Before Every Breath since you've been gone

1. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Yes, I’ve been talking about wanting to read this for ages, but it’s finally on my shelf AND I finally have the time. I need all the fluff this summer. I cannot wait! I’ll probably order the sequel too so I can just binge the series.

2. Every Breath by Ellie Marney
Series binge is finally happening. SOON.

3. Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
Funny story, this was actually on my summer 2014 TBR, and I totally failed and never got around to it. (I did read all the others though, so bite me.) BUT, now it’s our book club pick for July, so it is definitely happening. My first Matson… I’m pretty nervous, tbh, but also ready for summer fluffies.

New Releases

Bounce All Played Out End of Days

4. Bounce by Noelle August
I loooove this new adult series, and when I found out this one was going to be about Grey, I was SO HAPPY. I am ready for the feels and the sexiness. Give it to meeeee. (Also, how freaking cute is that cover??)

5. All Played Out by Cora Carmack
MOAR CORA CARMACK. I had to hold off on buying this during my unemployment, but it is finally in my possession since last week, and YES. Can’t wait. Intelligent girl with a college bucket list and the most hilarious guy on the football team. I am ready for all the shenanigans.

6. End of Days by Susan Ee
asdfjkl; I’m nervous. I’m terrified. I’m going to reread the whole series, I think. I’M NOT READY.

Review Copies

Jesse's Girl Rebel Mechanics The Immortal Heights Miss Peregrine's Home

7. Jesse’s Girl by Miranda Kenneally

8. Rebel Mechanics by
STEAMPUNK wheeeeeee. (Though, the last few steampunk books I’ve read have been disappointments.) I’ve heard excellent things about this so far, so I’m really excited.

9. The Immortal Heights by Sherry Thomas
asdfjkl; This is apparently going to be the summer of series binges, because I need to reread the first two in this series and ride the tidal wave of feels to the very end. I’m planning to read this early, because no one is messing with my expectations here. NOPE.

10. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
I’ve had this on my shelf courtesy of Quirk Books for a shamefully long time x_x but, since the last book of the trilogy is now approaching, there’s no better time to finally catch up. I’m ready to be amazed.

  1. I haven’t read many of the books on this list but the two I have read – To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before & Since You’ve Been Gone – are perfect for the summer! If you’re looking for cute fluff, To All the Boys does the job easily and as for Since You’ve Been Gone, I think Morgan Matson is like the quintessential YA author for the summer. Her books are feel-good but also pack a lot of emotion and depth. Hope you enjoy! And have a great summer! 🙂

  2. (Is that true about The Archived or just wishful thinking?)

I’m so curious about Since you’ve been gone and how it’s going to work out for me. I’m scared for End of days and I don’t want it to end. I’m also going to try to read The immortal heights soon, before the hyped reviews come in. I don’t know what you will think of Miss Peregrine. I thought it was good, but some people found it too slow. This will be interesting! 🙂

    • Absolutely true! Victoria has confirmed it will happen, but she’ll probably have to self-publish it because Disney won’t. So it might take a while longer.

  3. SINCE YOU’VE BEEN GONE. I think it’s a Debby book, it’s wonderfullllll. Friendships and slow burn romance and music and SUMMER and CUTENESS. It has hidden depth and a shy protagonist and um yeah, I love it. I hope you do 🙂

Omg you know how I love Every Breath too! I’m excited for you to meet Mycroft and Watts 😀

Loved To All The Boys, the sequel is on my summer reading list! And omg Jesse’s Girl is a definite Debby book. I read it in an afternoon, it’s very adorable.

I need to read All Broke Down and The Perilous Sea before I can get to the sequels, will make them a priority. Happy reading!

  4. Is Since You’ve Been Gone from BEAt14? Yeah, Debby, I want to read that one as well this summer. I was waiting for the hot season to roll in to start that little beauty.

    End of Days……yeah……good luck.
