When We Collided by Emery Lord: After The Start of Me and You, I was basically convinced to buy every book Emery ever writes – if only for the swooooons. As such, I’ve had this pre-ordered for a while. It’s not a premise I would usually go for (it sounds a bit heavier or sappier than I usually like) but, like, swoons. So whatevs.
Lady Renegades by Rachel Hawkins: The end of the series is here! I dunno, I’m kind of scared of this one because I thought Miss Mayhem was rather disappointing. I hope it gets back to being fluffy and fun… and making sense. Kind of.
Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum: This is kind of an odd one, because there is a grief element that I don’t automatically go for, but it’s been getting a TON of love from trusted friends. Gaby said it was ALL CAPS DELIGHTFUL, and Dahlia comped it to Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, so, umm, yeah, I want it. I also want waffles.
Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here by Anna Breslaw: Probably my most anticipated 2016 debut. I love everything I know about this book asdfjkl;asdfjkl; Get in my hands now.
The Rose and the Dagger by Renée Ahdieh: ERMAHGERD IT’S ALMOST HERE. I’ve been desperate for this sequel ever since I finished The Wrath and the Dawn, which was beyond fabulous. I will be stalking the mailman for my pre-order.
Heir to the Sky by Amanda Sun: I KNOW, I didn’t like my first Amanda Sun experience with Ink, but this one sounds SO COOL. It sounds like all the elements of some of my FAVORITE video games (Tales of the Abyss and Baiten Kaitos) and I so badly want a book that feels like those. I will just keep an eye out on reviews to see if the characters and romance will work for me, but then I am ALL IN.
