Purchased
Lady Renegades by Rachel Hawkins: It’s the last book in a series I am up-to-date on, so yeah, I had to. Also, how awesome are the titles in this series? I’m a little bit skeptical because after LOVING Rebel Belle, Miss Mayhem was kind of sort of a disaster. So… yeah. Do not disappoint me book. Or else this is another series where I’ll pretend only the first book exists. When We Collided by Emery Lord: Umm, Emery Lord writes pure magic, so obvi. Had to buy it. I’ve heard all of the amazing things again already, so I will be making it a priority to get to this one relatively soon. I say relatively. Well, we have a bunch of national holidays coming up, so more reading time. I can totally do that.
The Rose and the Dagger by Renée Ahdieh: UMM YES I FOUND THIS IN THE STRAND EARLY AND HALF OFF. I totally had it pre-ordered already, but for that price, I couldn’t let it go. And, you know, support brick and mortar stores and all that. I probably won’t actually be reading this early (since, you know, the book comes out next week) but I’m still glad to have it ♥
The Forbidden Orchid by Sharon Biggs Waller: SIGNED. Mmhmm. I knew Books of Wonder had signed copies of this one, and I did absolutely LOVE A Mad, Wicked Folly, and this became our book club pick for May… soooooo. Everything lined up perfectly. I’m so excited to have another book by this author!! She is fab.
Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here by Anna Breslaw: EEE I’m very excited about this one 🙂 It’s like, my most anticipated 2016 debut. Please please be cute and wonderful ♥
The Right of First Refusal by Dahlia Adler: Umm, it’s Dahlia. So obvi purchase is obvi.
Gifted
The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury: This one was a gift from Daisy, because after Amazon messed up her order she had two copies. AND YAY. This cover is stunning, and I’m still drawn to all things genies. So THANK YOU DAISY.For Review

Just a Girl by Ellie Cahill: I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP ON ELLIE CAHILL YET. Let’s hope this one is more When Joss Met Matt and less Call Me, Maybe.
I cannot wait for The Rose and the Dagger! Lucky girl!
TOTALLY agree about Just a Girl! Definitely need more Joss/Matt than Call Me Maybe. I enjoyed When We Collided but it’s definitely heavier/different than Lord’s previous books. She’s such a great writer though, it’s insane. Glad you got to go to The Strand! I love it there so much.
Only two books in NYC?! That’s impressive! I’m excited for quite a few of these, The Forbidden Wish and Scarlett Epstein in particular! I hope you love it and that it’s cute!
