Book Haul #36: Gotta Have ‘Em All

I’m not completely obsessed with Pokémon Go, what are you talking about? I also like books. Sometimes. Maybe not so much this week. BUT WHATEVER, I must complete my collections.

The Skylighter by Becky Wallace: It’s been a while since this book came out, but I read it as an eARC and LOVED it, so it was just a matter of waiting until the price went down a bit. If you’re new to fantasy or want super fun, fast paced entertaining fantasy, you need this series.

Run by Kody Keplinger: HELLO NEW BOOK FROM ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS EVER. HELLOOOO. I am excite. This is supposed to be an excellent summer friendship road trip novel, and Kody’s favorite book that she’s written so… yes. Will be reading very soon.

The Inquisition by Taran Matharu: WELL SINCE I’M ALL ABOUT POKÉMON RIGHT NOW, I should get back to this series which was basically like Harry Potter meets Pokémon meets LoTR. Suddenly immensely tempted to drop everything, reread book 1 and dive into this. Ummm……

Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine: YAY YAY YAY. I loved Ink and Bone and I’m so excited to have this in my hands right now. I just need to find the time to read it. This dystopia is totally unique and different and unpredictable, and I must know what happens next!

This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab: I’ll be the first to say that I don’t think this is as good as her other books, but the series still has a lot of potential and she is an auto-buy author. So I auto-bought. Obviously. And I regret nothing.

Out on Good Behavior by Dahlia Adler: Obvious buy was obvious. I mean, Dahlia is so awesome – I just met up with her this week for dinner in Amsterdam and it was SO FUN. So yeah, I did need to complete my Dahlia collection, also because this book is so witty and swoony, and then I read the acknowledgments and promptly died.

This Adventure Ends

This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills: Well color me surprised that Macmillan actually accepted me on NetGalley! But seriously THANK YOU. I really liked Emma’s first book but I’ve heard even more amazing things from a couple people about this one. And that cover is stunning. I’m really looking forward to this!
