Book Haul #37: Full O’ Faves

This month I showed RESTRAINT! Superb restraint. But of course, there were some new releases that I pre-ordered forever ago from some of my absolute favorite authors. I regret nothing.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling: It’s ridiculous how long it took my pre-order to come in, but once I had it I read it right away. I enjoyed it, though I also feel like it was unnecessary. I won’t write a whole review because I don’t want to think super critically about it, but I wrote some thoughts on Goodreads.

P.S. I Like You by Kasie West: Another favorite author with another book that I proceeded to read in one day as soon as it was in my hands. And I regret NOTHING. This book is AMAZING. Guys. It’s like a YA You’ve Got Mail. I’m not even joking. Read and experience the spectacular feels.

Defending Taylor by Miranda Kenneally: New Hundred Oaks book = instabuy. And yes, I also proceeded to read this one almost immediately. It’s not my favorite in the series, but it was an entertaining, quick read.

For Review

My Unscripted Life by Lauren Morrill: I’m nervous about this because after being head over heels in love with Meant to Be, Morrill’s other books just haven’t lived up to it and have gotten steadily less Debby-book-ish. But this one is a celebrity romance thing again, and you know that’s one of my favorite tropes.
